Time for retirement

No...not for me. ;-)

Time for the Clown halloween costume that all of the kids have worn to retire. I bought it for Derrick to wear in 1995 when he was just over 2 years old and it kinda became a tradition for each of the kids to wear it when they were around the same age. Since Emily is our last little munchkin, the clown costume will be retired for good.
Of course, this post would be useless without pictures...so here ya go!!

Derrick 2 years 3 months (1995)

Shea 3 years 5 months (2000)
Bailey 2 years 1 month (2005)

Emily 2 years old (2008)

Finally!

Anyone that knows me and has been to our house knows that we have desperately needed a table for some time. Our little 4 top table, with 2 broken chairs, has left us eating wherever we could find a place to park our butt for quite some time. It definately wasn't working with 4 kids!
I found this beautiful table on Craigslist a few weeks ago and I love it! It is about 40 years old and in excellent condition! The ladies that I met with to pick it up were so nice. I really felt great about the whole deal.
The best part is that we can all sit down and eat dinner together again! Woohoo!

Bailey's First Day Of School!

She has been so excited to start school! Everything went so good. Suprisingly no tears (for her or me lol). She went right into the classroom and barely wanted to say goodbye to me (she was too busy). I had to practically beg for a hug and kiss lol....she was more interested in checking out the classroom.

She rode the bus home and loved it. She has wanted ride on the bus since she was so little!

I was so excited and nervous that most of my pictures came out blurry. lol

Here she is....my big girl!

Walking to her classroom

One last picture before mom leaves!

No More Braces!

Well, it is kinda old news around here lol. He got them off at the beginning of last month but I never shared pics! It took me a little while to get used to looking at him without them. I found myself staring at his mouth everytime he talked. I'm sure I drove him nuts saying....open your mouth and let me see your teeth again lol.

Anyway...here are 2 pics that I took last night while he was trying to recite his JROTC creed to me lol (again...I was annoying the crap out of him. Must be a mom/teenager thing).

Oh...and just for the heck of it, here is the picture of him the day he got his braces on (December 05).

Already? Your kidding me....right?

What is Emily running around the house doing these days? I'll give you one guess.

If you guessed shooting rubber bands then you are correct!
Haha! I wonder who thaught her that one?
Here are some pictures! Oh, and the red all over her hands is marker. Go figure lol.

Time flies when you are having fun!

I had the pleasure of hanging out with the nicest family today! Baby S, his mom, his grandma and his dad (well, dad for just a little bit)! He was such a little sweetie, walking around with his new little toddler style strut. So cute! I love when babies first start to walk...it is adorable! He was an absolute angel. He definately had us working hard to get a smilelol. He didn't find me quite as interesting as the beautiful garden that he was getting to play in!

I took Baby S's newborn pictures one short year ago. Time sure does fly!

Here is a picture from his newborn session and then two from his session today. Isn't he just a doll?!

My New Paper Arrived!

Chestnut...I think I love it! Of course I tortured and bribed the kids into testing it out for me today. No pictures with all of them together though. It is rough enough doing their pictures individually! They all did great though...here is a few of my favs!

My initial reaction from Emily...Oh no! She has the camera again!

Bailey and one of her many facial expressions!
Derrick came and sat down on my backdrop....I didn't even ask him to! YAY!
He turned FIFTEEN on Friday (the 25th) Oh and the braces come off next week too!! WOOT!

Shea...I love the brown paper with her skin tones!

An Oldie

Emily at only eight days old. I love this picture of her! I think after two years of it sitting in a folder on my computer I'm going to have it printed lol.

My sweet baby girl! I can't believe she is almost two years old already!

Happy Birthday Little Guy!

I photographed this little guy for the first time before he was even born and then again as a newborn and now for his one year portraits. I can't believe he is already turning one! He was so much fun to photograph. Such a little character and so much personality! He kept me giggling the whole time I was there! :-)

Meet Mr. K:
All snug in mommy's tummy!

Tiny Newborn! So sweet!

And now, a little sneak preview of Mr. K from his session yesterday! All ready to conquer the world with his little sidekick in tow beside him! What a little sweetie he is!
